New Books Showcase Rashtrapati Bhavan’s Legacy and President Murmu’s Vision | Frontlist

Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, alongside Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan, and Secretary of I&B, Shri Sanjay Jaju, unveiled four new books: Wings to Our Hopes - Volume 1 (in English and Hindi), Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present and Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki.

Shri Chouhan praised the books as a testament to President Droupadi Murmu’s compassion and commitment to various societal sectors, including women, marginalized communities, and the youth. He described the compilation of President Murmu’s speeches as a significant contribution to India's democratic heritage, offering inspiration and a broader understanding of socio-economic challenges.

Dr. L. Murugan commended the Publications Division for its ongoing efforts in producing valuable literature and highlighted these books as essential resources for future generations.

Wings to Our Hopes gathers President Murmu’s speeches from her first year in office, covering topics from national issues to individual empowerment. Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present explores the historical and architectural significance of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, providing an in-depth look at its iconic spaces and the Presidents who have lived there. Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki offers nearly a hundred years of Rashtrapati Bhavan’s history and significance.

The event concluded with copies of the books being presented to the President, celebrating both the legacy of Rashtrapati Bhavan and the impact of President Murmu’s leadership.
